We’re very pleased to announce that we will be running a #peacehack at this years’ Build Peace conference in Zurich.
Build Peace is a community that brings together practitioners, activists and technologists from around the world to share experience and ideas on using technology, arts and research for peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
We’ll be running our #peacehack parallel to the main event where developers and designers will work in teams to come up with a prototype technology solution to a peacebuilding challenge. The Build Peace Fellows will pose three specific challenges related to their peacebuilding work from which hackers can choose. Challenge briefings will be available to registered hackers closer to the date.
Hacking teams will present their prototypes to a panel of judges at the end of the #peacehack… and we have some great prizes lined up!
